Room facilities

Ensuite with shower (no baths or spas due to tank water), king size bed (or twin beds), lounge, CD player, balcony/garden deck, heating, hair dryer, ceiling fans, electric blankets, opening windows for fresh mountain air. 2 x triple rooms are available [1 x king + 1 x single OR 3 x singles] are available. These triple rooms must be booked via telephone [03] 5165 6262.

Reverse cycle air-conditioning in all bedrooms and public areas.

WiFi is FREE, however the signal into the building is not reliable sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Special suite [Black Diamond] for people with limited mobility with ensuite with grab rails and flexible shower head. This suite must be requested in advance. Please telephone [03] 5165 6262 to book this room.

Guest facilities

Guest lounge, tea/coffee making facilities, 24hour guest bar, book and magazine library, CD library, WiFi throughout it's FREE but it is not reliable due to Telstra signal problems, wood fires, NON SMOKING premises. Air-conditioning. Telstra 3G service is available in reception and guest's lounge.

Full wheelchair access; Ramp to hotel, no steps on ground floor and wider access doors.

NOTE: Walhalla's Star Hotel is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12YO. We are also NOT suitable for weddings and we are not in a position to accommodate wedding guests or undertake wedding receptions.

Other facilities

Parkers Restaurant a la carte restaurant and wine bar is open to house guests. Closed on Friday^ and Sunday*, mid-week opening is subject to occupancy. If you wish to dine with us we advise that you book the restaurant in advance or book a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Package. The GreyHorse Cafe next door is open daily 10am to 2pm. Disabled ramp access to hotel and cafe. ^ Unless a public holiday. * Unless followed by a public holiday.

Wi-Fi Hotspot it's FREE but it's subject to the Telstra signal working.

Conference facilities

Conlan Room up to 30 people, whiteboard, overhead projector, flip chart. We are NOT suitable for weddings and we are not in a position to accommodate wedding guests or undertake wedding receptions.

Complimentary transfers for hotel guests from Traralgon Railway Station (prior booking required and subject to availability). We strongly advise that your check on the availability of a transfer PRIOR to booking your accommodation.
