The Long Tunnel Extended Gold Mine runs tours daily.
Monday to Friday tours are at 1.30pm.
Saturday & Sunday PLUS public and school holidays at 12noon, 1.30pm & 3pm.
Prices are $19.50 Adults, $13.50 Concession, $49.50 Family.
The tours take 45 minutes and take you to the huge machinery chamber past all the original gold workings. It's a fascinating tour with excellent tour guides and is highly recommended. The tour is walked but it is flat. Limited car parking is available at the mine entrance, however it is only a short (and very pretty) walk from the Star Hotel.
